"Roses For The Maestro"
I had something so exciting happen to me. I have a deep love for music and the music of Andrea Bocelli. My husband and I saw him at Madison Square Garden and both of us were awestruck by the show. The next day , I was still high from the concert so I was googling the performers. The conductor,Steven Mercurio ,was so captivating, tall and handsome and was singing along with the music, a thrill to watch along with the Magnificent Bocelli. I was able to e-mail the conductor to express my great appreciation and joy. I attached an image of these roses pictured here and called the message "Roses for the Maestro". To my surprise and delight(I never dreamed he would answer back), within an hour he answered me back, saying he loved the flowers and that I had made his day. It was the nicest thing , except the concert that had happened to me in a very long time. We artists do not get much applause. Our work is so solitary, and are public performances are few. Our contemporaries are too insecure, and gallery owners are busy. So, this was a true delight ,appreciation from one artist to another.
